Detroit Queer Sketch Series is all about good vibes, great art, and awesome people! Come hang out, sketch some amazing models, and take plenty of snack-and-social breaks.
Whether you’re a pro with a pencil or just here for fun, it’s a chill, welcoming space to get creative and connect with the community.

James Staycation and Chris Gorski teamed up to create Detroit Queer Sketch Series (DQSS), blending their shared passion for art, community, and inclusivity. With James’s flair for event organizing and Chris’s creative vision, they’ve built a space where queer and allied artists of all levels can connect, create, and thrive. Together, they’re making art fun, accessible, and unapologetically vibrant!
