Details: Join James Staycation and Chris Gorski of Detroit GT for an evening of artistic expression and community. Detroit Queer Sketch Series brings together artists of all skill levels for life drawing focused on the human form. We'll feature a model holding poses from 5 to 30 minutes, with breaks every 15 minutes to stretch, socialize, and enjoy refreshments.
Goal: DQSS aims to unite our community through art, offering both beginners and experienced artists a chance to network and grow together.
Materials: We provide sketching supplies, or feel free to bring your own—pencils, charcoals, paints, or even your iPad.
Cost: Pay what you can, with a suggested donation of $25 to support our inclusive environment. All adults 18 and over are welcome, regardless of financial ability or gender identity.
Refreshments: Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be provided. You're welcome to bring your own adult beverages.
